Cheap Isn’t Bad

I always buy a relatively inexpensive UV filter for each of my lenses. It isn’t because of the stunning impact they have on my photographs as there really is no obvious impact. But I do buy them to help cope with another type of impact. This morning it was protecting against a brain lacking caffeine, a short attention span, and a flurry of rushing out the door kinds of things. The result…

UV-Filter

Sometimes cheap (or at least inexpensive) can turn out to be a good thing. Everything on the threaded-end of the UV filter was fine!

Positive News From AT&T (I Think)

So this text message arrived today from the folks at AT&T. I’m not sure if this is good news or not.

“AT&T Free Msg: AT&T appreciates your Mark the Spot feedback from Mexico NY on 2/17/2010. We are pleased to inform you that we have a new cell site planned near your submission in the next 60-90 days. If you have any further comments or feedback, you may reply to this msg for free. Thank you, AT&T.”

Notice the date they reference of my report. I have been reporting issues since August of last year all the way through as recently as this morning!

So the question is whether something will improve within 60-90 days from now, or if this text message is just finally arriving after three months of kicking around in their system! That may sound ridiculous, but anyone who has AT&T service and lives outside major population areas knows that either is just as likely! I guess I’ll just wait a few months and see what happens…since there really isn’t a choice.
